The Optronics Submersible LED Trailer Light Kit # TLL9RK referenced in your question uses 20 gauge wire for the included 25 foot wiring harness.
This is a really nice light kit that also includes two stud mount, waterproof LED tail lights and the needed mounting hardware. I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on this kit that you can also check out.
