Way to Lock Thule Roof Rack with Gutter Mount

Question:

gutter mount..locking knob.. i leave racks on..and with cargo..no one is going to steal my racks.. I want to remove the knobs that tighten the clamps and replace with a allen head bolt...i am afraid something will fall apart if i take the factory knob bolt all the way out.

If you have a Thule gutter mount roof rack why not instead replace the plastic cores with lock cores like with the Thule One Key System part # TH450400? This would give you the anti-theft deterrent you want and wouldn't require you to remove any portion of the rack.

Absolutely. If you have Thule Gutter Mount Feet like # 300R, you can replace their existing plastic cylinders with the One-Lock Cylinders # TH450400 to help protect your investments.
