This lockable handle assembly fits directly into your Crossroad foot and tightens the foot to your roof-rack railing. The handle snaps into place on the foot and includes a lock plug that can be replaced with a Thule One Key System lock.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement handle assembly for Thule Crossroad foot packs. This replaces one lost or damaged handle assembly for Thule Crossroad foot packs. Simply tightens the foot to your roof-rack railing. When it's not being used, it simply snaps into the foot pack housing. Nice little storage option there. That way it's always accessible when you need to use it and it's out of the way when you don't need to use it. You'll notice right here it has the included lock plug.
Now, that can be replaced by a Thule One Key System lock. Not included, so you will need to get that separately if you're interested in that, but that's a really great add-on to the unit. Adds a lot of security to the roof-rack system. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement handle and tool assembly for Thule Crossroad feet.

Exactly what I ordered. Good communication on delivery status and arrived when expected. This is simply a replacement for a lost locking version. Will likely use etrailer to get replacement locks for all four towers.
I have some older roof racks that didn’t have any locks so a couple of these just popped out and bounced down the highway. These are not available through many places because the racks are so old but etrailer had them and shipped them right out. Now I can install some lock cores so they don’t end up with the last pair.
