This lockable handle assembly fits directly into your Crossroad foot and tightens the foot to your roof-rack railing. The handle snaps into place on the foot and includes a lock plug that can be replaced with a Thule One Key System lock.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement handle assembly for Thule Crossroad foot packs. This replaces one lost or damaged handle assembly for Thule Crossroad foot packs. Simply tightens the foot to your roof-rack railing. When it's not being used, it simply snaps into the foot pack housing. Nice little storage option there. That way it's always accessible when you need to use it and it's out of the way when you don't need to use it. You'll notice right here it has the included lock plug.
Now, that can be replaced by a Thule One Key System lock. Not included, so you will need to get that separately if you're interested in that, but that's a really great add-on to the unit. Adds a lot of security to the roof-rack system. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement handle and tool assembly for Thule Crossroad feet.

excellent utility - the fact that the allen wrench is readily available to tighten/remove the foot pack. No looking around for the allen wrench. It also is cool the way thule integrated the tool into the overall finished product - overall I have used Thule products with great results and good looking form.

This handle is exactly like the one that was missing. I suspect the prior one was stolen because the handles are tight and work well
My old end caps stopped clicking in and I had lost them. I was tired of looking at the bare ends. These new caps clicked into my old bar straps just perfect. Looks clean again. Happy that I found them here.

We are still using the Thule Crossroad Roof Mounted Railing Feet. After ordering them we found our old one so we now have an extra set. :) They are still serving their purpose on the end of the rack and tightening the rack to the car.
Wish I could have purchased this replacement handle at the local rack shop to support them in these difficult times but they didn't have it in stock. Etrailer.com has this and hundreds of other even more obscure parts for car top carriers. Their web site is nicely organized and it was easy to find just what I needed. Delivery was prompt.
This is the tool/cap for the older Thule 450 mounts that hold the Thule bars to your existing vehicle roof rack. We ordered this as a replacement for a lost one and it works perfectly.
