Question:

I’m trying to find out the spring rating of the Yakima rack and roll standard shocks. I can’t seem to find it in the specks anywhere. I see there is also a heavy duty set of shocks but I can’t find the information on them either? Before I purchase the unit I want the shock information. Can you help me?

The weight capacity for the standard Yakima Rack and Roll trailer like part # Y08107 is 250 lbs when used with the standard shocks. If you go to the HD shocks like part # Y08110 you increase that capacity to 350 lbs. This is recommended if you plan to tow over 200 lb.
