Question:

I am looking to replace my Yakima kayak trailer tires which look have good tread, but seem to be dry-rotting. I am attaching a picture of my wheel with existing tire and wanted to see if your yakima trailer tire will work. The existing tire is a Pirelli Mandrake 90/80-16 MT 15 - see tire side. I need 2, maybe 3. Can you help me? Thanks.

The Spare Tire with 5 Spoke Rim for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08121 has
wheel dimensions of 16" diameter x 1.85" wide and tire dimensions of 16" diameter x 3.25" wide. This is the tire # Y8880282 you referenced with inner tube # Y8880283.

I believe this is the newer wheel option for the same trailer fit. If you measure your wheel and tire you will be able to determine if it is the correct fit or if you need to replace the wheel as well. For complete replacement you can use the Replacement Wheels for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer - Qty 2 # 8880157.
