Do all 15k BTU Atwood AC Units Come with Heat Pump

Question:

I have. 2002 laktoa fifth wheel 32 foot. Needing to replace AC unit. How is it that they say there 15000 can put out the same as an 18000. Do all of the 15000 units have the heat pump in them. If so do you have to hook it up or will the unit cool if not hooked up. What all will be needed for the installation.

A 15,000 BTU air conditioner puts out 15,000 BTU and would not match an 18k setup since that number is a measurement of output. The ducted 15k kits like the Atwood part # AT15028-22 that you referenced all have the heat pumps.

Install is pretty basic for the kit and the heat pump feature does not require any additional setup or install.
