Question:
Camco vent Is it possible to separate top to allow for winter storage cover

Expert Reply:
I do have options for you but I called my contact at Camco and they told me that the top part on the Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent part # CAM40597 that rotates is not designed to be removed. I went out to our warehouse and tested this myself to confirm that the rotating head cannot be removed and put back on. If you are looking for a lower profile vent I recommend the Camco RV Replacement Plumbing Vent part # CAM40033 which comes with both the putty and screws needed for installation. We also have a similar powered version of this vent that has a fan and for that you would need to use part # UF53-945001.
