This vent uses the wind to pull holding tank odors up and out, keeping the air fresher inside. Its 360-degree rotating head spins with even a light breeze, creating a steady vortex that draws odors away no matter which direction you’re parked or driving.
The Cyclone’s shape and rotation let it spin freely with changing wind or vehicle movement. You don’t need to point or adjust it—the vent automatically finds the airflow and keeps working as long as there’s a breeze.
Installing this vent is simple since no drilling into the roof is required. It’s made to fit most 1-1/2" PVC holding tank vent pipes, so swapping out an old vent takes just a few minutes.
The vent is built from white plastic that stands up to outdoor exposure while blending cleanly with most rooflines. Once in place, it keeps spinning on its own with no power, wiring, or upkeep needed.

Today we're gonna take a look at the Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent. Now with this plumbing vent you can use the power, the wind, to draw holding tank odors out of your RV. Normally with ordinary plumbing vents air pressure while driving can force the air down the stack pushing unpleasant tank odors into your RV cab. This vent here uses a 360 degree rotating head and a unique shape that creates a nice powerful vortex that will pull the odors up and away, so even a gentle breeze will work to spin the Cyclone. It does easily attach to the plumbing vent. There is no drilling into the roof required.
It is a very low profile look, and it is made of a UV stabilized resin. It does fit the majority of 1-1/2 inch diameter PVC holding tank vent pipes, and it does come with the nice cover plate that you use when you install it, and the mounting screws to install it also. But that should do it for the review on the Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent.

quality manufactured product with effective design as we travel with the coach long periods more than were are stationary and I believe that this helps the removal of gases/smells and process so when we are stationary the issue of smell does not draft down in the area
Works great, i believe. Installed it when i redid the roof. Redid the roof before i used it. Dont know it it stunk before i installed this but it hasnt since i did.

Super easy to install , and it works great..I had to replace one that I installed last year somewhere in my travels it had broken off.. That's how I noticed it was missing as the smell from the black water tank had reappeared.
I have had this product before on a previous RV, and was very satisfied with its performance, as to removing odor from my RV. As I recently acquired a newer RV, I knew I had to have the Cyclone again.

Fine. I actually have two on my RV now.
Exellent product for poor Vented Black tanks. No more odors emitting into the Motorhome.
Great product. Really works to pull odors out of the tanks. Unfortunatly I am out of the RV business due to ALS.

These things really work. No problems with odor coming into the RV anymore.Easy installation on most 1.5" ips vent pipes.
They seem to work with the breeze. Haven't taken the camper out yet. The hardest part was getting the old sealant off the roof and away from the vent stacks.
the cheap push on vent pipe cover disappeared after driving down the road. I like this replacement because the wind vane swivels with whatever breeze there is and helps to prevent odors inside the RV. etrailer has always been a place to shop for quality products. Sorry, no photo.
Arrived as expected, fits a 1.5" ABS pipe perfectly. Using in on my home septic vent to elevate vent and use wind to provide negative pressure, keeping odor out of the yard.
Wish I had one of these when I had an RV, would have made the experience much better.

Still working as expected, actually has worked so well I kinda forgot about it. Plan to raise it uo a bit and keep the odor completeley out of the yard.
Rec'd our RV vent on time and the price was very competitive. The shipment was well packaged to prevent damage. Etrailer is an easy Co to deal with and carries a lot of excellent products.

After a year our vent is still in place and functioning as it should. It does work!
I had some odor issues that I determined was the result of some downdrafting in my vent pipe. I was looking for a replacement cap that would produce a venturi effect on the pipe in order to pull odors out and away from the coach. I also wanted the replacement to provide that even while the coach was parked. I ran across the Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent here at etrailer.com and installed it. It completely solved the odor problem. The slightest breeze will rotate the vent so it is always pointing into the wind and creating that suction. I'm very pleased.

Hi Gary I recently purchased the cyclone to eliminate my black water tank odor . While imstalling I realized that my max vent cover near my black water vent would prevent the cyclone from spinning 360 . My only two solutions are 1 trim the cyclone lower fin to allow for rotation or 2 extend the vint pipe approximatly 3 to clear the vent cover thereby making it the single highest point on my trailer roof excluding the radio antenna . Neither solution seems to be a good one for one reason or the other . Am I missing another option besides dont install ? Your thoughts thank you Jim C
