Perfect. Exactly what I needed. Do you have the recommended kit for wiring directly to the f150 using the trucks wiring as opposed to a separate bulb. If so is there an installation video for this? Thanks so much.

The Blue Ox base plates that fit your 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum FX are actually # BO74FR. Blue Ox lists them for all versions of the 2015 F-150. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.

For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha # BX7380. It is rated for 6,500 pounds and comes with safety cables. For lighting you can use a diode kit, # RM-15247. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.

You may also need a high/low adapter to keep the tow bar level. I have linked a help article showing how to measure and a link to the high/low adapters we carry.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the preferred systems for our installers and what I recommend is the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO proportional system, # SM99251. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

The # RM-88400 relay is also required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.

Be sure to consult your vehicle owners manual for specific information on flat towing the vehicle. I have also included some helpful links to our series of help articles on flat towing for you.

Blue Ox base plates # BX2668 are for the 2016 and 2017 Ford Explorer. Base plates # BX1124 fit the 2003 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) with double tube bumper. So that is the difference between those two but neither one fits your 2015 Ford F-150.

Yes, we do have a flat tow wiring harness that plugs into a 2015 Ford F-150. It is Hopkins harness # HM56009. We do not have an install video but I have linked the review video for you.
