How to Reduce Rattle With Yakima DoubleDown Bike Rack

Question:

I bought the bike rack about a month ago, order #105995190, finally installed, 1 1/4 in, last weekend. The wobble is very wide, 2-3 inches back and forth. Any ideas on how to lessen the wobble?

There is a way for you to reduce the rattle, also called play, with the Yakima DoubleDown. I recommend using Curt Stabilizing Straps # 18050, which will significantly lessen the amount of wobbling you are experiencing.
