Question:
What is your opinion on using snow socks on this car? I do drive my car in the winter Im in northern NJ, and have all season tires on the car. Id like to have something to use if/when I get caught in an unexpected snowfall. This is my first year driving this car and I understand it doesnt do too well in snow. Thus, looking for any and all suggestions. Besides not driving it in the winter! If this product is not suitable, what else could you recommend as a good choice? Perhaps I missed it but is there a video to show how to put on this product? Thanks very much.

According to the owner's manual for your 2005 Chrysler Crossfire, tire chains are not permitted for use on your vehicle due to limited clearance between the wheel wells and vehicle components. Therefore, this leaves you with two options which are snow socks or snow cables.
The ISSE Hybrid Snow Socks part # TCH62 will be a confirmed fit as long as you have the standard 225/40-18 tires. The snow socks are very easy to install with most customers stating it takes no more than 5 minutes total. However, the traction provided will not be nearly as great in comparison to a snow cable like the Titan Alloy Snow Cables part # TC339DC. The snow cables will take a bit longer to install but will provide far better traction when needed.
If you were to frequently use a traction device for precautionary measures then I would say go with the snow socks but if you are only keeping a pair in the vehicle for emergency situations then I would go ahead and try the snow cables. Regardless of which option you choose, I strongly recommend you test fit the product in your garage or driveway before they are needed.
I have attached an installation video for each type of traction device for you as well. If you do not have the standard 225/40-18 tires, please let me know what tire size you have and I would be glad to recommend the correct parts for you.
