Question:

If I have a bumper that is factory towable, does that mean I cannot use the 37130? Would I have to replace the bumper itself to make it work? The higher Class IV rating is the reason I prefer this to the 75105. The factory bumper has a Class II 2inch bottom receiver mount that I am removing regardless. Thanks.

I reached out to my contact at Draw-Tite and they believe the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Multi Fit - Class IV - 2" # 37130 will fit your 2000 Toyota Tundra with the factory towable bumper, but they can't confirm it absolutely will fit. They don't have notes on the fit, but assume it may be an issue if there is a hitch ball installed on the bumper.

They can confirm the Class III # 75105 will fit. They also said since you are removing a factory hitch, it may change the installation as these are made for vehicles that do not have a factory hitch.

This hitch will fit your 2005 Toyota Tundra so long as your truck does not have a preexisting bumper hitch. There will be some drilling to get this hitch in place. You have to widen two holes and drill two new holes. But, if you would like to take a look at the installation instructions I have provided a link to our product page.
