Question:
Does the Hopkins HM43385 plug fit a 2000 Toyota Tundra? If not do they make one with a 4 pole and 7 combined like it for that truck?

The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Flat Connectors # HM43385 is a fit for 2003 - 2006 Toyota Tundra with factory 7-Way. For your 2000 Toyota Tundra, there is only a 4-way trailer connector available so you will want to start with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118367 and then add the Universal Brake controller wiring kit # ETBC7 for the 4-way and 7-way.
Then you will need a brake controller like # 90195 which is our most popular option. This will give you a proportional controller that will apply your trailer brakes at the same time and with the same amount of pressure as you hit the brake pedal in your truck. I've attached some videos and an article to assist.
