Is Curt Stabilization Strap Required on Saris Freedom and Curt Trailer Hitch on 2014 Toyota Corolla

Im thinking of purchasing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I Item # C11265. Would this strap also be required for the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack - Item # SA4412B?

Curt will require stabilization strap # 18050 when using trailer hitch # C11265 for anything other than towing a trailer. That would include the Saris Freedom # SA4412B.
To avoid having to use the strap I recommend you go with Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24913 for your 2014 Toyota Corolla. Draw-Tite does not have any strap requirements. I have linked a video below showing an example installation for you.
