What Size Downtube Does Cradle of Saris Freedom Bike Rack Fit

I appreciate the quick response, but I have one question for clarification. Is it a 5 inch width or 5 inch circumference?

I reached out to a representative of Saris who told me the Replacement Tube Cradle and Strap # SA24382 will fit a downtube of approximately 5 inches.

This is a replacement cradle for the Saris Freedom bike racks such as # SA4412B which is a 2-bike rack that fits 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch hitches, as well as the 4-bike rack # SA4414B which is for 2 inch hitches only.

Since you have a carbon frame you may want to also consider a wheel mounted bike rack (assuming it does not have fenders) such as the Kuat Sherpa 2.0, which comes in your choice of colors: Black # SH22B, Pearl # SH22P, or Gray # SH22G.

The Sherpa 2.0 can be tilted down - even with the bikes loaded - with the press of a handy foot lever, and can also fold up for when the bikes are not being carried. It does not require any tools to install into your hitch as you'll only need to turn a knob to tighten the rack in the hitch; this also works as an anti-rattle device so you can get a quiet ride.

Excellent question and Saris responded that it is "about a 5 inch circumference."
