You can use either a fuse holder such as Spectro # SWC9545 along with a locally-sourced mini fuse, or you can use a 30-amp auto-resetting circuit breaker # PK54230 to protect the circuit that powers your Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000.

If you planned to tow both a 2 axle and a 3 axle trailer you'd want to just use a 30 amp breaker like the part #PK54230. It wouldn't be necessary to go down to a lower rated breaker when towing the 2 axle trailer.
