Torque Specifications for Installing Curt Class III Trailer Hitch on 2015 Honda CR-V

Question:

2015 Honda CR-V, class 3 Curt Hitch Would you please tell me the torque specs for the U-Bolt nuts that secure the hitch to the “tow loop” on the underside of the Honda near the rear.? Thank you

When installing the Curt Class III Trailer HItch Receiver # C13119 on your 2015 Honda CR-V, you will insert a 7/16 inch U-bolt through the tow hook. After raising the hitch into position, you will secure it using 7/16 inch flange nuts to the U-bolt and 10mm bolts with 7/16 inch conical toothed washers to the weldnuts in the frame rails.

You will torque all 7/16 inch hardware to 50 ft-lbs and all 10mm hardware to 48 ft-lbs.
