Question:
We had a 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE van that had a hitch and trailer brake wiring etc installed already however, our van was totaled in a tragic wreck and although we purchased another 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE, we dont have a hitch and need to be able to pull a 16 Foot Bass boat and trailer...please help so we know exactly what we need to buy.

The trailer hitch receiver that I recommend installing on your 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75237 as it is a confirmed fit and has the highest weight capacities of all of the available options for your Sienna. It has a Tongue Weight (TW) rating of 675 lbs and a Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) rating of 4,500 lbs which is increased to 5,000 lbs when using a Weight Distribution system. This is a fairly easy install which I have attached a video that you can use as a reference.
For your trailer lights I recommend the Tekonsha T-One # 118498 because of how reliable the Tekonsha products are. This will give you a 4-Pole connector on your Sienna.
In your question you stated brake wiring so if your boat trailer has electric brakes you will need some additional wiring as well as a brake controller (if the brake controller from your other Sienna didn't survive the accident). For the additional wiring you will want to use our Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This will provide you will all of the equipment that you will need so that you can hook up a trailer with a 7-Way connector.
To activate the brakes on your boat trailer you will need a brake controller. I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 as it is very easy to setup and to operate. I have attached a video of the # ETBC7 kit and the Prodigy P2 being installed on a 2005 Sienna that you can use as a reference.
