Question:
Sir, I have a 2008 Marine Master Tandem Axle Trailer with UFP Gold Series Oil Bath Painted Hubs and DB-35 Brakes one axle. I believe my current Rotor Hubs have something similar to 36163-IU stamped in them, and have L44649 and L68149 Bearings. I am seeking a spare Hub Rotor, bearings, Seals, and a OEM Trailer Buddy Bearing Protector Grease for emergencies. I trailer my bass boat up and down the east Cost a few times a year and am interested in carrying spare parts. I would convert to grease hubs, but my Gold Series Axle does not have a grease fitting. I figured I could carry a complete spare hub to replace either the idler or rotor hub should I have a catastrophic seal or bearing failure that did not severely damage the spindle, Can you sell me a replacement oil bath hub, and the associated parts....or the equivalent UFP Rotor Hub.

We don't have the UFP Brand, but I can give you some compatible parts. For your trailer hubs with rotor, I recommend the Kodiak 10" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet - 3,500 lbs # KHR10D. You will need grease seal # RG06-050 along with bearing # L68149 and # L44649.
For your brakes, I recommend the Kodiak Ceramic Brake Pads w/Stainless Steel Backing Plate - 3,500 lbs to 6,000 lbs # K225CPSS along with the Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper - Stainless Steel - 3,500 lbs to 6,000 lbs # KDBC225S.
For your bearing oil bath, you can use the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit for 3500-lb Axles # XLPROLUBE1980KIT. If you choose to use grease instead with a Bearing Buddy Cap, I recommend the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 1980A-SS w/ Auto Check - Stainless Steel (Pair) # BB1980A-SS. When you have oil baths, the conversion is simple, you just pack your bearings with grease. If you want to convert your oil baths, you can use these caps if they fit your hubs, or you can keep the oil caps as that won't be an issue even when you use grease.
