Why will item 118158 Convertor not work with LED lights? Will it work with a LED load resistor that I have so the LED lights will blink like they should?

The Tow Ready Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # 118158 cannot be used with a motorhome or towed car that has LED lights since it is intended to receive and to output the higher power from standard incandescent light wiring. LEDs are very efficient and operate on much less power so their wiring is also lighter. The lower-power signals will not always allow normal operation.
Some combinations of MH and vehicle may work if you install load resistors like # DI34ZR but the better option is to use a 2-to-3 converter which works with LED lights. You'll also need tail light isolating diode system # 38955 to prevent backfeeding to the MH.
