Question:

I recently purchased a 2017 Lexus RX 350 with the towing package. Dealer was quoting me a price on installing a hitch in excess of $1000, he said due to the amount of labor involved. He said the entire rear bumper needed to be removed for the installation. Looking at your video it seem very easy. I might even try this myself. The concern I have is about the wiring harness. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 56083 recommended wiring harness indicates that it plugs directly into the OEM tow package port. Where is this port on the RX 350? And finally, how does the wiring harness attach to the underside of the vehicle? Does it just hang there or is there a way to have it look more professionally installed, like the the 4-pin plug belongs there and isnt an add-on?
