Features to know about

Keeps Your Trailer Level: 2" Rise or 4" Drop

Getting the trailer height right makes all the difference when it comes to stable towing. This mount gives you both a 2" rise and a 4" drop, so you can match your coupler height for a level setup. With an 8-1/4" length from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, it keeps your trailer lined up straight and steady mile after mile.

Handles Everyday Hauls: 7,500 lbs GTW Capacity

Whether it’s a small camper or a loaded utility trailer, this setup is built to handle it. The pre-torqued 2" hitch ball and steel ball mount are rated for 7,500 lbs gross towing weight and 750 lbs tongue weight. It’s a solid choice when you need dependable strength for routine use without overcomplicating things.

Quick Setup Right Out of the Box: Pre-Torqued and Ready

No need to hunt down tools or torque specs before heading out. The kit comes pre-torqued from the factory and includes the 2" ball, hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, rubber hitch cover, and a sturdy storage case. Just slide the shank into your 2" x 2" receiver, secure it, and you’re ready to tow.

Fights Rust and Corrosion: Durable Finishes That Last

Road grime and weather can eat through cheap coatings fast, but this setup doesn’t skimp on protection. The ball mount has a black powder coat finish, while the hitch ball and lock use corrosion-resistant chrome plating. Together they keep rust at bay and maintain their clean look over time.

Stays Secure When Parked: Lock and Cover Included

When you’re not towing, this kit still works for you. The hitch receiver lock helps protect against theft with an easy quarter-turn key design, and the rubber Curt-logo hitch cover keeps dirt and debris out of your receiver until next time you hook up.

Product was everything it was described as. Works perfectly, and George even helped out by bumping my shipping up one level for no extra charge, which was freakin awesome.

by:

Excellent quality heavy duty, just as described. The carry case is an great idea to keep the set together when not in use. Very quick service! Shipped 2 hours after ordering. Received the package in 2 days.

The order process was very easy. The communication from etrailer was great. Product delivered when they said it would. The product is as ordered, looks great. Had it on the truck in 10 mins after receiving it. Would order again from this company.

Does what its intended for very strong heavy duty no problems..

by:

Very convenient kit. Nice to have the locking pin and receiver cover. I reversed to the 2" rise position since my 2016 Honda Odyssey already sits low to the ground.

by:

Great purchase experience. eTrailer has this convenient package of ball and hitch already torqued together, AND includes a locking pin in addition to the normal cotter pin! Website is clear on details of package, contents, and dimensions of each component. Shipping was fast and packaged well. I’m not sure if I saved money compared to buying all this separately, but I’m going to believe I did. Thanks!

Nice combination to go with my front hitch for the F150.

Good product. A bit short for my application of front mount on my F150. Recommend you use a longer hitch for mounting front of this model truck.

by:

Still carry this in the cab of my truck, because it came in a great carry case. The only real downfall is the plug--which I used initially, but it soon fell out. I've not used it yet, but it is the mating hitch for the receiver (same brand, etc). It is very well made, and the price was right. I'd buy again.

I store it in the case behind the driver’s seat. It still looks new.

by:

Just received my starter kit and it seems like a really good buy. I’m very happy with this purchase and looking forward to putting it to great use soon. Thank you etrailer. I’m a very happy customer.

dodge journey 2014

etrailer service
excellent
the hitch don't fit perfect with the spare tire other ways is pretty good
if you tele out the spare tire you going to have a hard time to put them back

etrailer sevicio es excelente
la pieza no se acopla perfecto con la rueda de repuesto del resto se monta perfecto .
si se retira la rueda de repuesto es muy dificil de poner de vuelta en el compartimento

  • Trailer Towing Setup Recommendation for 2014 Buick Enclave
You are on the right track! The Draw Tite hitch part # 75528 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Buick Enclave as well as the trailer wiring kit # 118270. The wiring mount part # 18144 will also give you a place to mount the 4-way that bolts to the bumper. The ball mount part # C45036 that you referenced is would also work well if you need 2 inch drop. I attached a help article that details how to pick out a ball mount drop as well.

  • Length of Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2 Inch Trailer Hitches
I'm not 100 percent sure I know the exact dimension you are referring to by center of the hitch pin hole to where you slide the mount up to the receiver, but I believe you are asking about the hitch pin hole to the rear of the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches # C45554. It is approximately 2-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear of the ball mount, and 8-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball. I have added links to a pair of video...

  • Trailer Hitch for 2011 Honda Ridgeline LT
Hi Anthony; the "not confirmed to fit" you're seeing means the # e54KR does not fit your 2011 Honda Ridgeline LT. This hitch is designed to fit the 2011 - 2015 Kia Sportage excluding SX models and 2010 - 2015 Hyundai Tucson. For a hitch that fits your 2011 Ridgeline you can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13385 instead. If you're planning on towing you will also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55585. This will give you a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights....

For the 2024 Crosstrek models, Subaru added a transmission cooler and increased the vehicles towing capacity to 3,500 lbs. So you will be able to use this hitch to its full carrying capacity. • Difference Between Curt and Draw-Tite Hitches for 2019 Subaru Crosstrek
Yes, the biggest difference between the Curt trailer hitch # C13382 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame hitch # 76209 is that cross-tube on the Curt hitch is hidden behind the bumper, whereas on the Draw-Tite it's fully visible as shown in the comparison photos on a 2019 Crosstrek I've attached. For this reason, I recommend the # C13382. Yes, both the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT22MR and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C94WR are fits for a 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV per the respective manufactures. They are also both great options for this vehicle. The main difference is that the Draw-Tite hitch has a bracket welded on for a towing connector so that is what I'd go with if you do plan to tow but if you're just using it for bike racks and cargo carriers then go with the Curt hitch.
