I spoke with my contact at Brophy and they said the maximum weight capacity of the Brophy Aluminum Scissor Steps, part # AS24, is 300 lbs.
If you are needing a hand rail for the aluminum steps I would recommend the Brophy Aluminum Hand Rail for 4 Step Scissor Stair, part # AHR4.
