got a sprinter in my shgop with no factory tow package so im hard wiring it and cant find the cold side of the brake switch??

We installed a brake controller in a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter just like your (see video link below), and we found that the correct wire was behind the brake pedal and was a pink wire with a green stripe. Fast forward to the 17:43 mark of the video and you'll see our installer testing and finding it.
The kit used to install the controller is the part # ETBC7 and the brake controller is the P3 part # 90195.
