As of right now (May 2017) the only confirmed Air Helper Springs for your 2017 Toyota Sequoia are the Air Lift # AL60826 and # AL60786. There are no options from Timbren as of yet.

Before investing in a suspension system what I recommend doing is making sure that your trailer is loaded appropriately. The Tongue Weight (TW) of your trailer should be 10-15 percent of the total weight of the trailer itself. If your trailer were to weight, say 5,000 lbs, then your TW should be between 500-750 lbs. If you haven't loaded your trailer properly, by adjusting the weight so that you have the correct tongue weight you will see some of that squat start to go away.

If you have loaded it correctly then you can either go with a suspension air bag system or a weight distribution system. I recommend using a weight distribution system because it will fix the squat you are seeing by distributing the tongue weight among the axles of your Sequoia and trailer combined. A weight distribution will help to control trailer sway that you might experience while driving. Should you decide to use a weight distribution system, if you could tell me what the weight of your loaded and ready-to-go trailer is plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Sequoia then I can make some recommendations for you.

I have a 2018 Toyota Sequoia and tow a 23' travel trailer which is 5,800 lbs fully loaded. I use a WDH with sway control but the rear still feels a tad "squishy" which is a drawback of independent suspension when towing. So I think these air bags would help improve handling but I notice you provide two different kits available for the Sequoia. Can you describe the difference between them as I see a few different parts in the photos, and which would be best for my application, thanks!

@EricS I'd be happy to! The Kit # AL60826 is for standard models while the Kit # AL60786 is designed for SR-5 models that don't have the factory auto-leveling option. It's also worth noting that Firestone now has their Coil-Rite Kit # F4124 that doesn't have restrictions either way, so it might be the better way to go.

@JonG Thanks for the quick reply Jon. I apologize for not giving important details, mine is a SR5 and is 4 wheel driver version. So, I had not reviewed the Firestone product, does it have the same warranty as Airlift? Also based on your expertise and tests, does it perform the same and have the same quality in terms of longevity / leaking issues? Thanks again!

@Eric The Firestone has a limited lifetime warranty on the air bags, and a 2-year limited warranty on the hardware. In my experience, the Firestone air bags tend to perform better and last longer than the Air Lift brand, but the Air Lift brand is a close second.
