When you’re hauling a heavy load, the rear end can sag and throw off your steering and braking. Firestone Coil-Rite air helper springs fit inside your existing rear coil springs to keep your vehicle level and balanced. With a load-leveling capacity of at least 500 lbs and at most 1,000 lbs, these air springs help maintain even load distribution so your ride stays steady and your tires wear evenly.
Every load is different, and these Coil-Rite springs let you fine-tune the support you need. You can adjust air pressure manually, side to side, through separate inflation valves mounted at your bumper. Add air for towing or hauling heavy weight to level off-center loads, or drop to the minimum pressure when unloaded for a smoother ride.
By working inside the factory coils, these air springs add a layer of cushion that absorbs shock and helps prevent bottoming out. The added support keeps braking and handling more effective when conditions get rough or the load is heavy. You’ll notice steadier steering control, better headlight aim, and less bounce when the road isn’t perfect.
Coil-Rite springs are made of elastic polyurethane designed for years of service under tough conditions. Each kit includes all materials necessary for installation — brackets, air springs, hardware, air line, and separate valves for manual inflation. Compressors and gauges can be added later if you want in-cab control. Once installed, they work quietly in the background keeping your suspension supported every time you haul.

I initially ordered the wrong airbags. I called eTrailer and Jeremy H. was very understanding. He got the right ones immediately shipped out and sent me a return label and info while I was on the phone with him. The bags seem good quality comparable to my previous Airlift bags. Instructions were well written and all hardware was accounted for in the shipment.
Easy install on lc200, it’s only been a couple days but test run with a trailer was great. Recommend getting getting inflation bracket (Firestone WR17607560) to reduce the need for any drilling if you don’t go with onboard compressor.
The airbags were difficult to install on a 2021 Sienna. It required removing the rubber stopper from inside the coil spring. Once that was out, install was easy. However, these need to be installed with the valve down as the plastic spacers fall out when the van is lifted for service when installed right side up as recommended. Upside down the air hose is routed thru the center of the plastic donut spacer which holds it in place when the van is lifted. However, once installed "upside down" the valves tend to pinch on the suspension as they move around. The pinching lets the air out and requires the bags to be frequently repositioned especially after the van is lifted for service. It is a good product, just unreliable and requires much inspection and maintenance to work properly. Will be loading up again for a summer trip and will need to reposition them so they work as I just had the oil changed.
These bags along with minor adjustments to my load leveling hitch made towing my 19.4 No Bo trailer so much more relaxing!I am running 20 PSI and 3/4 of an inch higher than stock ride hight. Easy peasy
I bought this set because I was having problems with one of the airbags I previously had gotten. It was on the right side of my forerunner. It had a slow leak. When I replaced the airbag this time it had a very fast leak. I finally found That if I used NAPA Sil-Glyde to insert tube it seems to be holding air. And I squeezed air bag into the spring. Use soap for sliding it in.
Phone service was excellent. Air bags helped a lot with stability. I found it easier to remove the spring from the Avalanche than to fight with it in chassis. Removing the spring also gave me a chance to clean the dirt and rocks out of the hose routing area. It was a little more work to drop the axle down but it really wasn't that bad. I was able to do it all without a hoist. Just used two floor jacks. I just let one side down at a time. Remove your swaybar link and shock and let one side down. Pull the spring and do the work in a vise. Its much easier than fighting with it on your back. Also put the air hose in really hot water and it will relax its memory.
Well I did not expect to have a one year follow up from ETrailer! I’m a 5 Star happy with these airbags over the AirLift 1000’s I had that blew out just after the warranty was up! These bags are more than twice the product, as you can inflate to >60 psi and that makes for a way more steady ride with weight! I typically run mine at around 45 psi now, the AirLift are limited to 28 psi. The construction is far superior and quality is excellent!!!

No review on product yet, but it looks like it should work well. The go into the rear coils of a Toyota Sequioa and are currently being installed.
So far it’s holding air, but still new; cannot comment yet on durability over a hot summer of towing. Took my Toyota dealer mechanic about 2 hours total with a few interruptions to install. Appears to be a good install on our 2022 Toyota Sequoia TRD Sport. Decided to keep the 2 valves separate for now and not merge 2-into-1 until I see how the suspension behaves with towing. Our 21’11” GD XLS 17MKE probably has a ‘dry’ weight (2 propane bottles, 2 6-volt batts, 1 rooftop solar panel, 1 controller) of about 4800 lbs, and about 5600-5800 wet (water tank not full). My Sequoia weighs right at 6000 lbs.
Driving around with just the Sequoia and no cargo..our mechanic had put 12 psi in the airbags. I was sure I could feel it modestly on the 1:15 drive home, but not severe or anything. Using an accurate low pressure gauge (like that for ATV/UTV tires) I lowered the bags to 9 psi, and drove 4 hrs yesterday (again the truck empty) with highway speeds; I could feel the improvement, it was close to normal. I will try 8 psi this week. Likely will stay at that for day to day driving. Instructions say to always keep 5 psi or more in the bags.
If this website allows for updates..I will once I have towed my loaded trailer at a few different air pressures settings.
I own a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. I tow a few trailers under 4000#. With a coil suspension, the bags prevent the system from bottoming out and helps to offset loads on heavy camping trips. The light trailer doesn't use weight transfer bars but the tongue weight was significant enough to reduce shock travel.
I installed the system myself and it did require that I remove the lower shock mount. On this vehicle, it recommended removing the horizontal alignment bar but that was a mistake as it was extremely difficult to get back in position since I installed one side at a time instead of on a lift.
Routing the hose at the top of the bag, the instructions were a bit vague. The hose locks into the top of the airbag in a fitting but how that hose is kept from being crimped with movement of the airbag within the coil has me concerned. That said, I do have to adjust the pressure from time to time. It would be great to have an onboard compressor for this but I've got one at home to air up before trips then a portable if I need to refill before coming home.
Overall, the bags provide a better ride, even at minimum pressure. Much less bounce. I installed a set of these many years ago in a different vehicle and was also pleased then. I installed this myself and they took about 3 hours because of that horizontal stabilizer but I think they could have been installed in about two if your vehicle isn't rust-encrusted.
I installed this on a Toyota Land Cruiser to help with larger trailers I was pulling. The install was a little more complicated than expected probably because of the age of my vehicle (2001) but with a little creative adjustments the work was done in about 3 hours.
I chose to run both sides on one inflator. After install I inflated them to recommended pressure and the truck rode just as it had with no bags. When I put a trailer on (6500) I inflated bags to about 25 pounds and the truck leveled out and the ride was wonderful.
I got another pair for my son and I am installing them on my new truck when they have a set for my model year

These air helper springs did exactly what we needed. We tow a Jayco Hummingbird trailer (3,750 lbs, 450-500 lb tongue weight) with our 2000 Toyota Landcruiser. Even with a weight distributing hitch the rear end squatted a bit more than I wanted. With the air helper springs installed rear end squat has been completely eliminated. Driving without the trailer feels more firm and connected to the road. The only negative is about the complexity of the installation. On the 2000 Landcruiser it requires that the rear suspension be partially disassembled. That was far more than I could handle at home. It took our neighborhood auto shop 3 hours to complete the job. Money well spent.

It took some work by the shop, but it’s finally working as designed. The touting of the air hose from inside the coil spring is through an existing hole in the frame was binding and causing the driver side hose to become kinked. The shop had to enlarge the hole and one that was done there have been no more problems.
Easy install
Existing bump stops need to be cut off for installation. I didn't install the Helper Springs because I was afraid modifying the existing bump stops might void the warranty on the vehicle. I installed the Timbren enhancement system instead.

Can you please confirm where the leak is located? You can normally find the leak by using Dawn dish soap, and air the bags to about 30 psi. Wherever the bubbles form, should be where the leak is located. This does have a two year warranty, let me get you over to customer service.
