Heavy loads or trailers can drop the rear end and throw off steering and braking. Firestone Coil-Rite air helper springs add load-leveling support of at least 500 lbs and up to 1,000 lbs to help keep your vehicle level and balanced. By maintaining even load distribution, you improve braking, handling, and headlight aim, while preventing bottoming out or excess tire wear when hauling or towing.
Not every day calls for the same suspension stiffness. With Coil-Rite’s adjustable air pressure range of 5 psi to 35 psi, you can fine-tune the support for the weight you’re carrying. Add air to firm things up when towing or hauling, then drop back down when unloaded for a smoother ride. The separate manual inflation valves allow side-to-side adjustment so you can level off-center loads with ease.
When rough pavement or heavy weight sends your suspension to its limits, these air springs step in to absorb shock and soften the hit between the axle and frame. The added cushion helps your vehicle handle bumps, dips, and uneven roads with better stability and comfort, cutting down on bounce and sway that make towing or hauling tiring.
Firestone Coil-Rite springs are made from elastic polyurethane designed for long service life under heavy loading and adverse road conditions. Each kit includes the air springs, brackets, hardware, air line, and separate valves needed for manual inflation. Replacement single springs are also available if maintenance is ever needed down the road.

Great product. I must say that they were a little tough to install. A very tight fit. Fortunately for me I had the availability of a vacuum pump. With that I was able to evacuate all the air out of the bags which made them flatter, with that, it made it easier to slide them between the coil springs. I tow a small camper trailer, I usually run around 20 psi in the bags. This keeps my vehicle level and adds for a smooth ride. A great product.
I initially ordered the wrong airbags. I called eTrailer and Jeremy H. was very understanding. He got the right ones immediately shipped out and sent me a return label and info while I was on the phone with him. The bags seem good quality comparable to my previous Airlift bags. Instructions were well written and all hardware was accounted for in the shipment.
The airbags were difficult to install on a 2021 Sienna. It required removing the rubber stopper from inside the coil spring. Once that was out, install was easy. However, these need to be installed with the valve down as the plastic spacers fall out when the van is lifted for service when installed right side up as recommended. Upside down the air hose is routed thru the center of the plastic donut spacer which holds it in place when the van is lifted. However, once installed "upside down" the valves tend to pinch on the suspension as they move around. The pinching lets the air out and requires the bags to be frequently repositioned especially after the van is lifted for service. It is a good product, just unreliable and requires much inspection and maintenance to work properly. Will be loading up again for a summer trip and will need to reposition them so they work as I just had the oil changed.
These bags along with minor adjustments to my load leveling hitch made towing my 19.4 No Bo trailer so much more relaxing!I am running 20 PSI and 3/4 of an inch higher than stock ride hight. Easy peasy
I bought this set because I was having problems with one of the airbags I previously had gotten. It was on the right side of my forerunner. It had a slow leak. When I replaced the airbag this time it had a very fast leak. I finally found That if I used NAPA Sil-Glyde to insert tube it seems to be holding air. And I squeezed air bag into the spring. Use soap for sliding it in.
Phone service was excellent. Air bags helped a lot with stability. I found it easier to remove the spring from the Avalanche than to fight with it in chassis. Removing the spring also gave me a chance to clean the dirt and rocks out of the hose routing area. It was a little more work to drop the axle down but it really wasn't that bad. I was able to do it all without a hoist. Just used two floor jacks. I just let one side down at a time. Remove your swaybar link and shock and let one side down. Pull the spring and do the work in a vise. Its much easier than fighting with it on your back. Also put the air hose in really hot water and it will relax its memory.
Well I did not expect to have a one year follow up from ETrailer! I’m a 5 Star happy with these airbags over the AirLift 1000’s I had that blew out just after the warranty was up! These bags are more than twice the product, as you can inflate to >60 psi and that makes for a way more steady ride with weight! I typically run mine at around 45 psi now, the AirLift are limited to 28 psi. The construction is far superior and quality is excellent!!!

Great product, I have it on my 2003 Silverado to level the truck out while towing my 5th wheel. I only gave 4 stars because I think it should come with a "T" fitting so both bags could be filled at the same time with an equal amount of air.
We installed a set of airbags in Fall of 2020. We originally gave a five-star review. However, air leaking started in about a year. By Fall of 2022, the left airbag was diagnosed as leaking. We're having another set installed in a couple of weeks. So, because of the problem, I'm down to at least three star review on these airbags!
Easy install on 2011 Sequoia. Jack up and support right side of vehicle, remove wheel. Deflate and plug bag then stuff into the middle coil of spring. Use soapy water if bag hangs on spring coils, I used sweat.
Make sure you run the air line through the top of the spring mount before unplugging the bag. As soon as you remove the plug, attach air line to bag. It's much more difficult to plug in the air line after bag is inflated.
Run air line to left side and repeat , about a 1 hour job. Firestone really should include a T fitting to run the bags together.
At 10psi Sequoia sits about 1/2" taller in the rear, I'll probably run them about 8psi unloaded. Will have to see how they perform and hold up under load, so far I'm impressed.
I think the air bags are probably ok but I haven't finished installing them yet. I like etrailer because you usually have a video on how to install your products. I bought these for a 2008 Toyota Sequoia. The 2008 Sequoia has independent suspension and all your install directions are for a sold axle. The 2008 Sequoia does not have a rubber bump stop in the middle like the 2007 has. When I called the help line the agent just used the written directions like I had that were not correct. He said I didn't have to remove the coil springs to install the air bags. That's wrong, I had to remove the springs and it was sill hard to get them in. I finally found a utube video that helped.
Great product, with moderate install. I had to drill out the lower pan of the coil spring in order for the hose not to be pinched. Other than that, it went smooth and has been working great for almost a year. I would highly recommend this product.
Air bags have worked well on our 2010 Sequoia for one full year. We also pit purchased the service kit, but we haven't had to use any of that yet.

NOT GOOD!! After 1 year, system losing air, left airbag leaking. Tried contacting Firestone Dont waste your time, voice mail jail. eTrailer does not sell 1 replacement air bag! So, ended up buying a new set, to be installed next week.
The instruction are not for independent rear suspension. They are for a straight axle. All you have to do is disconnect the sway bar links and remove the shocks and you can slide the bags into the coils. It’s not easy though. They do make a big difference in towing. I cut a piece of aluminum angle to make a bracket for the valves, and that makes it easy to access for pressure adjustments.
Easy install on lc200, it’s only been a couple days but test run with a trailer was great. Recommend getting getting inflation bracket (Firestone WR17607560) to reduce the need for any drilling if you don’t go with onboard compressor.

Fantastic product. Theyre on my 2011 Toyota Sequoia and still works like a charm. By increasing the suspension on my rear wheels, my stability has improved, trailer sway has been eliminated and my rear tires dont wear out on the insides. I just wish I bought these air bags years ago. Since installing 2 years ago, I have travelled approximately 5,000 km while towing with no issue. While towing I fill to 30 psi, and when not towing, I keep them just under 10 psi.
