Question:

I read reviews that the Thule Snug Tite lock can be broken very easily so Im looking at alternatives for securing my Thule bike rack to my 2 receiver. Is this product compatible with the Thule bike rack?

The Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device, # THSTL2, is the only hitch pin lock that can be used with Thule bike racks. The racks and lock are both uniquely threaded to be compatible with each other so another lock, like the Softride Lock, # SR25219, that you have referenced will not work. I have included a link to a video review of this lock for reference.

I recommend adding a cable lock, like # e98891, and using it through the bikes, around the rack, and attach it to the trailer hitch. This will provide extra security and extra piece of mind.
