Question:
I am undecided between the E-Z Flex Duty Rubber Suspension System by Dexter and the Equal-Flex Equalzers double eye springs, which is the best and most effective choice. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Both the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs like # LC279687 and the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System like the # K71-653-00 will provide an upgrade over the standard cast equalizers that most likely came on your trailer. Either of these products will be a great choice. Both feature rubber cores which will minimize chucking and absorb road shock for a smoother ride.
To choose the correct replacement for your existing equalizers, you will just want to make sure that you get an equalizer with the measurements and capacity that will be compatible with your existing suspension/axle setup.
I recommend going with the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-653-00 because the required bolts, shackle links and rubber equalizers are all included. The bolts and shackle straps for the Lippert Equalizers need to be obtained separately. I have attached a video review of the E-Z Flex for you to check out.
