What Is The Best Suspension Upgrade Available For Winnebago 2455BHS Travel Trailer?

Question:
I noticed the equalizer my trailer has now had a print on it, it is this one TREQ104 To answer your question, the length of the shackles is about 2 1/4 from center of the bolt to center of the other bolt. I would like to get 2 sets of shackles just to be safe, same size and maybe longer? just in case? I believe I have seen a video where someone had to use longer ones.... Also, I would like to replace the bushings and bolts. I believe the bushings will be metal instead of plastic which is what I have now and the bolts would have the zerts or grease nipple. Last thing, I may need to replace the U-bolts, correct? I believe, based on some videos, that I would need longer U-Bolts since the shocks have the metal plate attached to the axle.

I would be happy to help you find the best suspension upgrades for your Winnebago 2455BHS Travel Trailer.
First while we do not carry the blue version of the Road armor 3500-8000lb equalizers you mentioned, the Road Armor # LC696740 are the exact same thing just yellow instead. Both have the same 3500-8000lb rating and the same dimensions.
The # LC696740 measures 6" between the horizontal mounting holes, 3-1/2" between the center of the of the upper mounting holes and the center line of the horizontal mounting holes, and has an overall height of 7-1/4" as you can see in the included diagram.
As long as that matches the dimensions of your existing equalizer this will work perfectly as a replacement for you.
While the Road Armor does a good job of giving the trailer a smoother ride, it does not hold a candle to a shock absorber kit like the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorber Kit # RM-2470 you mentioned. Now the # RM-2470 is designed for trailers with tandem 8000lb axles which is not what your trailer has.
Based on the information I was able to find on your trailer it should have tandem 3500lb axles, in which case you would want the # RM-2450 instead.
The # RM-2450 will be perfectly compatible with the Road Armor, but honestly using a standard equalizer would be just as good as the shocks will be doing the majority of the ride improvement.
The # RM-2460-2570 is for 8000lb axles as well and would not work with your axles, and there is not a similar system for tandem 3500lb axles.
To get the absolute best ride quality I recommend going with the # RM-2450 and replacing your equalizers, bushings, bolts, and shackles.
We went over how to measure for the correct equalizers, but for shackles it is a bit easier. All you will need to do is measure from center to center of the two holes. If you can provide this information I would be happy to recommend the correct replacement suspension components for you.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
