My vehicle taillight harness for my 2012 Highlander went bad lights no worky do you have any suggestions?

You will want to use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to find out where the short circuit is. First check the the power and the ground wire and then work your way to the other functions of your harness. If you find the short is in a wire, you can replace the wire, but if it is in the converter you would need to replace it. I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56217.
