The etrailer Trailer Hitch, # e98865, for the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox does include the fish wires to install the bolts on the frame of your vehicle.
For your wiring harness, there are two options. If you do not have the factory tow package, then you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118494. The wiring harness is designed to plug into the existing wiring of the vehicle without cutting or splicing the original vehicle wiring.
If you do have the factory tow package on your 2017 Chevy Equinox, then you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118264.
Both harnesses are designed to wire in a 4-flat plug to only run the lights on a trailer with no brakes.
If you are going to be towing a trailer, you will also need a ball and ball mount. I recommend a ball mount kit # 989900 for your hitch. The kit includes two ball mounts a different rise and drop sizes. The kit also includes the two most common trailer ball sizes, 1-7/8 and 2 inch. I have attached a help article to help you find which ball mount will work the best for your application.
