looking to rent an RV for a journey cross country and want to bring our 2014 Buick Encore with us. How can we best transport our Buick?

According to an online owner's manual I found your 2014 Buick Encore cannot be flat towed. Meaning it cannot be towed with all four wheels on the ground. If you have the all-wheel-drive Encore it must be towed on a trailer. However, if you have the front-wheel-drive model it can be towed on a dolly with the front wheels off the ground. You should check your owner's manual to verify all of this.
If you're able to use a dolly the Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2050-1 is great option. The deck swivels for safe turning, it has sliding ramps and electric brakes. If you choose to use the brakes make sure the RV you rent has an electric brake controller installed and you'll also need a 7-way adapter # PK12706 on the dolly.
