What about a 2008 Jeep Liberty with a MANUAL 6 SPEED on flat towing

As long as it is a 4WD you should be good my man. The 2WD version can't be toad with the rear wheels on the ground. The only way you can be 100% sure is to check your owners manual. Look up the towing section. That will be your final say.
