Brake Controller Port Location on 2008 Toyota Sequoia

Question:

I have 2008 Sequoia LImited with the tow package. I have the correct harness for the brake controller. I cannot find the plug under the drivers side dash that receives the harness plug. Can you help me? Thanks.

Since your 2008 Toyota Sequoia came with a factory tow package, you can plug in the wiring harness, # 3040-P into the port on the vehicle. It is located under the dash to the left of and above the the emergency brake. You will remove the panel that is there on the far left, and the connector will be tucked up behind some other harnesses. It will have a white connector. I have included a link to a video that shows the installation of this harness on a 2008 Sequoia just like yours.
