Before the trailer even rolls, there's a battle for space, between gear, fuel, and actual living space. A bulky generator doesn't belong inside your trailer, crowding you and risking damage. Just pop it up front on this trailer tray cargo carrier. The mesh floor is sturdy enough for both large and small items and keeps grime from building up underneath. Welded tie-down loops make it easy to tie everything down, so nothing shifts while you're on the road. Plus, the front support keeps your load steady, even if you're bouncing down a rough back road.
This aluminum storage box lets you toss in most generators or a couple of 30-lb propane tanks. Pop the lid open and it just hangs out up there while you dig for what you need. Today, we're going to take a look at the Stromberg Carlson Gen Secure II for your CC-225 platform. What stands out to me, especially out in the bright sun, is the diamond plate. You can see it has a polished finish, and that's going to give you a nice reflective look, and you're going to have this rubberized handle that latches down here. You also have a loop, so you can add a padlock for additional security. On the inside, you're going to have dual pistons on both sides that are going to assist you in lifting the lid and keeping your generator secure. Stromberg Carlson did a great job of designing this in a way that keeps the moisture out.
If you notice there's a lip on the top right here, and that'll allow the water to drain to the exterior, instead of the outside. And also, if you're using this for your propane, it has holes on the inside to allow the propane fumes to vent out, so it won't collect all on the inside of your container. As far as your generator, on the inside, you definitely want to use your tie-down loops to keep it secure as you go down the road because it could shift about. And the thing that's super cool about it is the fact that it has an aluminum construction. So, that's going to allow you to add additional storage on top of your negative space where your propane tanks are without adding a lot of additional weight.
