Re part #c49360. What is the intended use of this product? Is there a 2×2inch outside dimension bar that can be welded into the combo bar so that it can be used as an extension in a 2×2inch receiver? Have a 2005 Chev 2500hd long box 4×4 with oem receiver. Thank you

Curt Combo Bar # C49360 is a fabrication part with a raw metal finish that is intended for use in welding/fabrication. Examples of applications are adding a 2-inch receiver to a suitable vehicle or trailer frame.
But we do offer hitch extensions that are made for use in 2-inch hitches like the one on your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These extensions, such as # C45796 from Curt and the others on the linked page, have a powder-coat finish to protect them from corrosion and they do not require welding; they install using standard hitch pins/locks and accept a standard 2-inch ball mount.
Please note that all hitch extenders will result in reduced hitch capacity.
