I am looking for a FRONT 2inch trailer hitch for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4. I will be using it as a front recover point and winch mount. The Ram 1500 is my overland and trail exploration rig so ground clearance is a concern. Which model Drawtite or Curt or other? will give me the best ground clearance? by how many inches? Please let me know model number. Thanks,

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31320 will provide better ground clearance for your 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 by approximately 3 inches. I have attached a photo that will show you the measurements from the mounting surface of each hitch to the top and bottom of the hitch receivers.
