Question:
Hello. Im new to towing trailers. I ordered the C13513 for my 2008 KIA Sorento LX. Now I realize I should have also ordered a lighting/wiring kit so that I can connect the trailer with the brake lights, etc. Can you orient me to the proper kit I need? Thanks!

It sounds like your 2008 Kia Sorento didn't come with the towing package, so for a 4-way wiring connection for your trailer you will want # C59236. I have linked an installation video of how this wiring harness for you to check out.
If your trailer instead has a 7-way round connector, in addition to the 4-way you will also need the # ETBC7 and a brake controller like # 90885 to controller the brakes of the trailer.
In addition to your hitch you will need a ball and ball mount to tow your trailer. To determine the correct ones for you trailer you will want to take a few measurements and check the trailer coupler for the size. I have linked a Help Article on this as well.
I have attached the above mentioned products as well as some help articles on towing that you may find very informative.
