This hitch opens up a lot of options for towing and carrying gear. With a 2" x 2" receiver opening, 5,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight, and 500 lbs maximum tongue weight, it’s built for everyday work like pulling small trailers, campers, or boat haulers. The Class III rating means it’s strong enough for regular use, whether you're carrying bikes, mounting a cargo rack, or towing a utility trailer.
The round-tube design is fully welded for solid strength and a clean look. Every hitch is covered in a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat for superior rust resistance. That layered finish helps fight off corrosion from rain, salt, and road grime so the hitch keeps looking good and performing well over time.
No welding or drilling needed here—just bolt it onto the vehicle frame using the included hardware kit and installation instructions. Precision robotic welding ensures the bolt holes line up right where they’re supposed to be, cutting down on frustration during install. It’s a straightforward fit you can handle with standard garage tools.
Because the hitch is custom fit and precisely aligned to factory mounting points, you get a secure connection that stays solid on the road. Use it with ball mounts, pins, and clips sold separately to complete your towing setup. The sturdy construction means you can trust it for both towing and accessory use whenever you need it.

If you are having troubles with the holes not lining up, it could be that the hitch has been flexed during shipment. This is common amongst hitches, since the mounting brackets are made from a mild steel that allows the hitch to flex with the vehicle after installation. If the entire hitch was made of rigid steel, there would be a greater chance of the hitch being damaged and experiencing stress cracks. Such cracks could cause the hitch to malfunction. This flexing often times will cause the holes not to align. Because of this we do have a help article I have the link attached below that will walk you through the process of straightening the hitch.

Great. Removed the spare tire, bolted it on and reinstalled the spare. No problem.
