Question:
Hello, I just purchased a new Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I am trying to install my existing Even Brake ICX transmitter. I have installed separate lights into the tail light housings. My question, is what wire at the brake light switch do I need to connect to terminal 1on the ICX transmitter? It appears that the brake light switch has 5 or 6 wires. It will require some acrobatics to get to it, so if you know of an easier location to tie in to it, I would really appreciate the info. If not, just knowing the correct wire to tap into will be a great help. Thanks in advance

The brake switch wire you need should be the white/brown wire on your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one to verify the function of that wire.
The brake switch on your Jeep is indeed in a hard to reach location. There isn't another place to tap into that would work for this application so it has to be done the hard way. I once had a customer who suggested that he would have to use an ambidextrous little person to reach it. So if you have access to one of them that could work. Otherwise you will need to do some contortion!
