Question:
I need info about the rear door CB250D96SHD . where on the door do the cables attach to retract the door. I know the unit mounts on the header and my question is about where on the door, ie top, half way, bottom. Also my current door has spring on the outside and I would like to due away with them as they are worn out. The mount for the current springs are bending the door. Will this unit work to replace the current system. if not is there a upgrade hinge kit to use on my door to move to that style of helper to eliminate the old system.

The # CB250D96SHD is designed to work with trailer ramp doors that open from the top and when fully opened create a ramp used for loading the trailer.
The brackets that are attached to the door are typically placed at the top of the door(top of door when closed). The bar that has the springs and drums attached is mounted on the header above the door in the trailer just like a garage door spring assembly.
If you are not accustomed to adjusting the springs on a system like the # CB250D96SHD it is highly recommended to have a professional familiar with systems like this to complete the job.
