Powered Jack Recommendation for a 5,000 lb Travel Trailer

Im trying to decide which power jack to install on my travel trailer/camper. The camper weight is 5150 lbs. Would a 4500 lb electric jack be sufficient or overkill? Thank you.

Going with a powered a-frame jack that has more than enough capacity like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer
Item # JET-5000 will benefit you in that the jack will raise and lower quickly without any strain. The capacity of your your jack is based off of your tongue weight which is 10-15% of your trailer weight. This # JET-5000 has a capacity of 5000 pounds which would be more than enough for your trailer. Going with a higher capacity than you need makes the jack work easily and quickly. It also prolongs its life.

Hey Mark, the height of the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack #e23ZV that you referenced above the mounting plate is 20 inches. This is about the shortest dimension you'll get from a jack like this. Would that be enough clearance?

The etrailer jack part #EJ-3520-BBX has a height of 20-1/2 inches from the mounting bracket to the top of the jack. Which from everything I looked up appears to be the shortest overall height from bracket to top of jack.
