Hi Tye!

The head on the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 22-1/2" Lift - 3,500 lbs # e79GV is fixed, but all is not lost. Pretty much all A-Frame jacks, including this one, use a 3" on center bolt pattern.

So with that said, you can rotate the entire jack at the time of the install to where your tailgate will open without contacting it. The LED light won't be facing forward, but it will still give you some light to get all coupled together. Not the end of the world, but figured I should mention it.

What kind of trailer are you wanting to install this on?
