What is Height of etrailer Electric Jack Above Mounting Bracket

Question:

Before I purchase this electric trailer jack, I only have one simple question. My question is, how many inches are there from the top of the Jacks protective cover down to the 3 bolt mounting plate that bolts onto my a-frame tongue? Simply put, Im wondering how high the very top of the electric jack stands above my trailer a-frame tongue where its bolted too? Thank you for your help! I appreciate it!

Hey Mark, the height of the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack # e23ZV that you referenced above the mounting plate is 20 inches. This is about the shortest dimension you'll get from a jack like this. Would that be enough clearance?

Jack was a great improvement on my 1966 Vintage Camper. I use a 2022 Ford Expedition as the tow vehicle, no problem with clearance.

I am very happy with the Jack. Saves my old failing shoulders. The only slight inconvenience the height of the motor causes for me is clearance to open my tailgate. Ram 2500. In my setup, the trailer must be level, or slightly tail low, for the open tailgate to clear the motor housing. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the unit.

This jack is awesome. It lifts my 20' enclosed car hauler with ease, loaded or empty. I'm able to fully lower the tailgate on 2022 Chevy Silverado. I don't miss hand cranking at all.
