The Convert-A-Ball # 901B will meet your tow ball needs.
This interchangeable ball has the ability to have a 2 inch ball or 1-7/8 inch ball, the length of the shank is 2-1/2 inches and the diameter of the shank is 1 inch, and has a towing capacity of 10,000lbs.
To protect your ball shank when it's not in use I recommend the Convert-a-Ball cover # 005B.
If you don't mind a longer shank, 3 inches, the Curt # C40020 would also work.
