Question:
Im going to pull a large boat and want to know which ball mount is the strongest. My boat has a trailer tong weight of about 7,000 lbs. And the boat with the trailer weighs about 18,000 lbs.

The highest capacity ball mount we offer is the BulletProof adjustable ball mount part # ED30OFFSET which has a 36,000 lb capacity when used with the 2-5/16 inch ball. This requires a 3 inch trailer hitch.
If your trailer really weighs 18k it would seem pretty unlikely you have a 7,000 lb tongue weight since tongue weight is typically 10-15 percent of total trailer weight.
Even our high capacity pintle that has a 60k trailer weight capacity # C48231 only has a 12k tongue weight capacity.
