Question:
Id like to use the C11265 class I hitch on my 2009 Corolla Sport, and wire it with the 118459 kit. Please help my decide the correct drawbar to use. My trailer coupler is 14.5inch from the ground but I cant find out the height of the C11265 hitch pin hole once mounted to my car. What is that ground to hole dimension, and therefore how much rise do I need to get to my 14.5inch trailer?? Thank you very much!

Expert Reply:
Once installed on your 2009 Toyota Corolla the Curt trailer hitch # C11265 will be approximately 11 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver opening.
That will leave a distance of approximately 3-1/2 inches to account for. The recommended ball mount is # C45521 which has a 2-5/8 inch rise so it will work because the trailer tongue weight will pull down a little and you will be off level by less than 1 inch. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # A-80 and for a 2 inch ball use # A-82. And for a hitch pin use # F-4.
And the wiring harness you mentioned, # 118459, will add a 4-Way connector to the back of your Corolla.
