As long as the factory mirrors on your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 are not the extendable/telescoping type the K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80910 will snap into place easily and be held securely by their clips that grip the edge of the OEM mirror housing as shown in the linked photo.
If you prefer the maximum amount of rear visibility for your towing activities you might consider a door-mount mirror such as # 11650 from CIPA. This item is sold individually, not as a pair like the K-Source mirrors.
