    We do have a towing mirror solution for you, but according to CIPA, the chrome cap on your mirror adds enough thickness to the mirror that the # CM10900 will not fit. This also holds true for the K-Source # KS80900 and the Longview # CTM1600, I'm sorry to say. I'd recommend using the K-Source Universal Mirror, part # KS3990.     If the mirrors you have on your 2012 Silverado do not currently have turn signals, or heat functions, towing mirrors with those features will not be enabled. The wiring is not completed for those functions on the vehicle. If you do not have those functions but want custom towing mirrors on your truck I recommend part # KS80900.     Personally I prefer CIPA stuff over K-Source. I've had to call both companies and CIPA seems to be more helpful and have tighter quality controls on the products they sell. That being said we've had a ton of customers use the part # KS80900 that is confirmed to fit your vehicle and report back that the mirrors worked great. But if it were me I would go with the CIPA part # CM10900 which have a perfect rating from our customers.

    The K-Source tow mirrors you have part # KS80900 that you referenced are a confirmed fit for your 2013 Chevy Avalanche. If you fast forward to the 2:26 mark of the install video I attached you'll see how our installer slips the mirror over the factory mirror and then pushes the lower portion on to snap it into place. If the mirrors are cold they will be harder to deal with. If you wait till a warmer day or let the mirrors sit inside to warm up the plastic will be a bit more flexible.
